Anil is an Associate Data Scientist at Øptimus and works with both the Data Science and Development team. His work is primarily done in Python.
Anil has a PhD in Pharmacology from the Medical College of Georgia. He also completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, focusing in Tissue Engineering and Vascular Biology. He has published over 20 peer reviewed publications and conference proceedings and has received over 180 citations.
Although he cherished his tenure in academia, he was always drawn towards consulting and data analytics. After completing his fellowship, he decided to harness his experimentalist experience to transition into data science.
In his spare time, Anil enjoys playing soccer, is an avid Netflix binge watcher, and attending tech conferences in the DMV.
